"Domestic Desires" proposes new experiments for the main design question of German architecture: living space. The curatorial proposal does not understand the German housing crisis as a primarily political, ecological or economic problem, which is satisfied with "more housing", but sees the real problem in the question of new ways of living. It therefore complements the struggle for adequate living conditions, openly denounced though demonstrations, by embarking a performative housing experiment to rethink the home.
